Support us – Health Solutions for Everyone Everywhere

Epidemics constitute the greatest threat to human and animal health.

Covid-19, Zika, Ebola, Influenza…these and other viruses are on the rise and are truly challenging to treat.

We need biological products

Biological products such as vaccines, cell and gene therapies, blood products…are essential to prevent and fight novel epidemics.

Health solutions for everyone everywhere

To meet the ever-increasing challenges to public health,
standardization will secure quality standards, facilitate distribution, reduce costs and expand access to biologicals.

The International Alliance for Biological Standardization

Since 1955, IABS has fostered communication between the major stakeholders, facilitated consensus among scientists working in biologicals, contributed to accelerating decision-making and regulatory solutions in order to encourage the standardization of biological products throughout the world.

IABS needs your support to accomplish several projects* including the following:

To reduce the time required to develop, produce and authorize biological products

by facilitating and accelerating the regulatory decisions that are made.

Project: Opening an IABS office in Singapore in Asia, a continent that has become one of the most important manufacturers of antigens and biotherapies.
Help control or eradicate certain diseases

Our ambition is to support key players and facilitate access to biological products.

Project: Support the action of the tripartite alliance (WHO, FAO, OIE) in their plan to eradicate rabies and the initiative of the GARC.
Promote innovative health solutions

Accelerate the access of innovative biological products to those who need them by constantly anticipating the regulatory processes in link with scientific progress.

Project: Replace animal testing for quality control of biological products.
